Summer MACE '08 Vendor & Exhibitor Information


The Summer MACE conference is for teachers, administrators, library media specialists, technology coordinators, office personnel, school board members, and any individual using computer technology in the classroom or office.

Vendors and Exhibitors that offer instructional and administrative hardware, software, contractual services, and/or educational products to schools, are invited to exhibit their products and services at the conference.

Conference Dates: July 23 & 24, 2009
Location: Wichita State University Metroplex, Wichita

Registration: accepted until spaces are full, see Registration section below for details.

Setup: Wednesday, July 22, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Setup: Thursday, July 23, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Display: Thursday, July 23, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (one day only)

Vendor area is open on Thursday, July 23 only, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Vendor and Exhibitor booths are to remain open until 5:30 p.m.

Vendor and Exhibitor Sessions

> Vendors and Exhibitors can submit their session proposals here.

The number of sessions allowed is determined by your Conference fee. A session for this conference is a 45 minute block of time.

Sessions are offered on Thursday, July 23, or by special arrangement on other days.

Sessions will be placed in one of four categories: Demo, Talk, Roundtable, or Hands-on. Complete details are on the proposal form.

Session Proposals Due: ??

Enter proposals online in order to guarantee inclusion in the printed program.

If your proposal is accepted, you will be notified within two weeks after the due date.

The statements submitted by those involved in the session will be made available to the conference participants so they can select and attend sessions that will be of greatest interest to them.

All Vendors and Exhibitors wanting to do a session must have a table in the Vendor area.

MACE will provide a video projector and screen in all session rooms. Vendors and Exhibitors are responsible for providing all other equipment and software needed for their session.

MACE reserves the right to reject any proposal.

Registration & Cancellation

MACE will accept Vendor and Exhibitor registrations until all spaces are gone, this includes the day of the conference.

Space is limited so we have a "first-come, first-paid policy".

All registrations received before 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2009 will get their company information in the conference book.

To guarantee sponsorship level benefits at Summer MACE '09 please complete the online registration form, then mail your check for the appropriate amount. In-kind goods may be accepted in lieu of cash payment.

Vendors and Exhibitors are required to pay registration for each person working in the booth. If this is an unknown factor when you register, your billing will be adjusted after the conference to reflect charges for the number of people who worked in your booth.

Notice of cancellation must be received by Linda Grindol.

Cancellations accepted until 5:00 p.m. July 10, 2009.

Conference fees will be required to be paid even if you do not attend the conference, unless you follow the cancellation procedure.

Internet Access

The WSU Metroplex has wireless Internet Access. If you require a "wired" connection please indicate that on the registration form. There is a $50.00 fee for setting up the wired connection. Every effort will be made to accommodate a "wired" connection request, but not guaranteed.

Drawings and Giveaways

We are promoting individual drawings and prize giveaways by each vendor!

On Thursday, July 23, we will host a Vendor Reception from 4:30 - 5:30 with light appetizers in the vendor area. Each vendor is responsible for having their prize and drawing slips available in their booth. By 4:45, each vendor should select their prize winner and notify the Registration Desk.

The winners will be announced over the intercom system beginning at 5:00 pm. Winners should return to the vendor booth to claim their prize. We think this will be a positive way of drawing interest to your booth and provide you with valuable contact information for potential customers!

Lodging is your responsibility.
